FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

I live in Teaneck, New Jersey and principally serve the tri-state area. If you’d like to hire me for a wedding in another state or country, please reach out! My background as a landscape photographer makes me especially apt for destination weddings and elopements.

How did you get into wedding and portrait photography?

Four years ago, when I saw how much joy my images brought to my friends and family, I decided to get more serious about my craft. And once I experienced the fulfillment of delivering my clients authentic, artful, and professional keepsakes of their most cherished day, I was hooked.

How would you describe your style of photography?

With weddings, I take a creative and photojournalistic approach, capturing a range of formal and candid portraits, and I strive to document the day in a non-intrusive way. For portrait sessions, I provide clear direction, flattering poses, and playful energy as we create a comfortable environment for authentic and joyful images.

For weddings, how many photos will we receive?

After thoughtfully curating your photos to tell your story in the most beautiful and artistic way possible, I will edit and ultimately deliver between 500 and 800 images, depending on the number of hours shot.

How do we receive our images?

Once the digital album is ready (approximately six to eight weeks after the wedding date), you will receive an email with a link to your customized online photo gallery. From there, your images can be downloaded and ordered as fine art prints.

What type of gear do you use?

I currently shoot with two Nikon D750s. With their dual card slots, your photos are immediately duplicated onto two separate SD cards for instant protection. With regards to lenses, I love shooting with primes so I can create beautiful, blurred out backgrounds and document key moments in low light situations. I also shoot with off-camera flash and the celebrated Magmod system.

What’s your favorite place that you’ve visited?

Iceland! This was the most beautiful place I've ever been and a huge turning point in my photography. Check out my Instagram for photos from Iceland and other travels and follow along as I artfully capture the world. :)
